Dr. Seuss' Birthday

March 2, 1904 Theodore Seuss Geisel was born. He was  the most imaginative children's writers who ever lived. We have been celebrating his birthday for the last few years and it is so much fun.

Target had a special event for his birthday and read some of Dr. Seuss' books. All the kids got a fun bag and some treats too.

Of course we took some pictures in front of the fun storybook.

McKenna stayed home with Daddy, but she did not like the mustache at all.

We had a crazy colorful lunch to celebrate and it totally threw the kids off. Finally they realized that it tasted the same as regular mac n' cheese and ate it.

I decorated the kitchen for lunch with balloons and streamers. It was fun.

Some of our favorite books of Dr. Seuss.

We also did a crazy hair day! Brooklynn loves it!

My little Cheeser!

McKenna didn't want anything to do with the wacky Mac so she just had plain old orange.

Watching Horton Hears a Who!

For dinner we had One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish! YUM!

The kids liked this one.

We made twirly colorful chocolate suckers.

We had a fun colorful bubble bath. (Pinterest). You start the bath with bubbles and then put glow sticks in the water. It was Awesome. The pictures don't do it justice.

The kids LOVED it!

At bedtime the kids got a new book to celebrate reading!
We had a great Dr. Seuss Day!
