Wow time flies!

Cameron had his 4 month apt. yesterday, I can't believe my little 6 pound baby is already getting so big. This picture is when we left the hospital. He got all the way down to 5 1/2 pounds.

I thought that my little Cameron was such a little chunk, but really he didn't weigh as much as I thought. The apointment was good, there were a few things we talked about like getting this kid to take a bottle. His advice... Just do it, he won't starve himself. But it is so sad to watch him cry. It is so different, because Brooklynn had no choice but the bottle. I have to get a little test done and can't nurse him for 48 hours. I was trying to just get him to take it with out throwing him into when he has no other choice. But he's not having it. I will just keep trying.

Height/length- 26 inches (about the 75%)
Weight- 15 lbs. 3 oz. (50%)

This picture was taken like 3 weeks ago. He sure is growing.

This is what Cameron looks like 90% of the time. He is the most smiley happy little boy. It was really sad seeing our happy little munchin was really sad after his shots. But it didn't last too long and he was back to his smiley self.

Zachary Dennis

I finally was able to go take pictures of my nephew Zachary. (Now that the sickness is gone.) I only got a couple shots, because we had Brooklynn and Caleb running around and Cameron wanting attention too. But I had to share this one. I thought it was so fun to do and very cute! Can you believe all that hair?

Katie and Bailey's Pictures

On Monday I took Katie and Bailey out to take their pictures. Those beautiful girls were such great models. It was really fun. I have been taking a lot of pictures lately (again). It is so much fun. I can't wait to take my nephew Zach's newborn pictures this week, now that everyone is healthy again. Well enjoy my cute neices pictures. I might make a photography blog soon to put all the pictures I take.

Muffin Tin Monday

This week for Muffin Tin Monday Brooklynn was at her cousin's house. We didn't really have a theme just a bunch of yummy food. It was so fun for Abbie-Tyler-Chase (Brooklynn always says their names as if they are one person.) really enjoyed themselves too. They just thought it was silly to eat from muffin tins. But I think they all sure had fun!

Happy Valentines Day!

For Valentines Brooklynn and Cameron got new books and cute little outfits. Brooklynn couldn't wait to get her present. We did it the night before because Ryan had to work on Valentines.

Here are my little valentines. Such cute kiddies. Happy Valentines to all our friends and family. (P.S. We had Valentines for people, but we didn't really get a chance to give them out. Sorry everyone.) We had a nice Valentines. In the morning we went to see the Draper Temple with my mom, brother Josh, his wife Johana and two boys Caleb and Zach, My sister Terra and brother Jacob. We were very surprised to see my sister-in-law and brother-in-law Allyson and Wyatt and their four kids. It was fun to be with lots of family at the temple. Brooklynn LOVED it. She was in awe the whole time. We got to explain to her how when she was little she was sealed to us in the temple. She told me her favorite part was "Seeing Jesus' house, but I couldn't find him." What a sweet little girl she is.

After that we went to breakfast and that was fun, then back to my mom's to hang out for the day. I decided since Ryan and I didn't really get to do anything for Valentines and since we have not been alone in 3 years (except once in October and I cried cause I missed Brooklynn) So I thought I would be brave and do it again. Brooklynn stayed at my mom's house to spend the night. So when Ryan got home from work the house was quiet. It was so different but nice to have a night just together (and our little munchkin, but he just sleeps.) Sleeping in was the nicest part. I don't think I have EVER slept past 9am in probably 10 years. Thanks mom for keeping Brooklynn, and oh what a night it was for them. We sure had a nice Valentines all around.

1st Article of Faith

Now that Brooklynn is a Sunbeam at church they learned the 1st Article of Faith in January. Well I knew that she was learning it, but me not being a very good mom didn't even think to see if she knew it. My friend Lindsay told me that her little boy (also a Sunbeam) knew it. I was like Hmmm, maybe I should see. So I asked her if she knew the 1st Article of Faith and she said "What's that?" So I told her it. Then she said. "Oh, I know." and she repeated it. I couldn't believe it. She did know it, she just didn't know what it was called. I am a proud mama. Good job Berkie, I love you so much!

Muffin Tin Monday & Sick Boy

This week for Muffin Tin Monday I had a doctor apt. So Brooklynn went to her Grandma Oldroyd's to get babysat. She wanted Grandma to be with her for her Muffin Tin Monday. For lunch Brooklynn had Fancy Chicken Rollups, Fancy Curly Fries, Fancy Peaches and Cream, M&M's, and a yummy drink. It's too bad Brooklynn didn't eat any of it. Being sick, you really loose your apetite. Oh wait... she ate the M&M's.
So they read Fancy Nancy books and Brooklynn dressed up very fancy. She chose everything herself, even all the flowers she put in her hair. Very cute! (sorry the picture is blurry, she doesn't know how to hold still)
She asked her Grandma "Where's your fancy dress?" It was cute. Fancy Nancy books are very cute and we still love Muffin Tin Mondays.

Our little guy started getting a cough too and Ryan listened to his lungs and there is gunk in there. Right now Cameron isn't too bad and so we are waiting it out. Hopefully he gets better. It is most likely a virus and you can't do anything about dang virus'. Cameron is still quite a good baby, even when he is sick. Right now he is even playing in his exersaucer. But when he is not in there he is getting lots of cuddles from Mommy. What a good big sister... comforting our little munchin.
Cameron doesn't like to get his temperature taken. I hate seeing those poor sick eyes. He is just in such a daze.
I am glad Brooklynn is getting better, and can't wait until this is a sick free house. That is the hardest part seeing your sweet little ones suffer. I have a really hard time seeing them like this. Ryan is so good, he handles it really well. I guess that is why he is a good nurse to work at Primary's.

What we've been up to...

Well it's been a crazy week. On Monday night Brooklynn got a little runny nose. Then she got a cough and it got worse and worse and worse. This is the 3rd bad cough in 3 months. (Remember the Thanksgiving-throwing up incident at the movie theatre???) Well also a little background in 2008 Brooklynn got this cough/cold thingy 5 times in 6 months. Plus once in November and once in December. Her doctor left to do humanitarian work out of the country, we hadn't picked a new doctor so we would just see whoever was available. Well they would say, "It's just a cold." or "She's got a little virus" It just seemed weird that it would always cause her to throw up. It just didn't seem normal.

Friday I got invited to dinner with old friends that I use to work with at Kiddie Kandids (from 8 years ago) but I already had plans to be with my mom, sister-in-law and let Brooklynn and Caleb play. While the adults got to play with the two new babies. BUT since Brooklynn was coughing so bad I just didn't want her to go over there. So Brooklynn and I had a Pajama Party Friday night and watched movies together.

So in the night Brooklynn woke up several times and threw up as usual. We played bed tag all night. Going from her bed, to mine, back to hers. Then at 4:30 Brooklynn said "My tummy is STARVING." So this was her eating cereal at 4:30am.

I decided that we are going to the doctor Saturday morning. It is so nice that her doctors office is open on Saturdays. (Oh ya, and we did finally pick a great doctor also.) So we got in to the doctor just after lunch. When the doctor came in she was in my lap almost sleeping. He listened to her lungs and they sounded aweful. Brooklynn could hardly breathe. Well he said that basically she is having an asthma attack. (It is an unofficial diagnosis, since they don't really diagnose asthma that young. Typically kids grow out of it or it is induced by something...like a cold.) But they are treating her for asthma or Upper Respitory Disease (WHATEVER.) They gave her a treatment in the office and 10 minutes later Brooklynn was standing up talking to the doctor and acted completely different.

So he sent me with 3 different prescriptions and we were on our way. Brooklynn has this lovely inhaler that she has to use every 4 hours or if trouble breathing then every 2. (She only coughs and can't breath when she talks, plays, runs around or gets to excited. Ya know the regular 3 year old stuff.)

That night my mom came over to help and be with us. THANK GOODNESS! Brooklynn threw up 3 times with in an hours time. And in the night she threw up again. She is doing so much better, last night we were all asleep by 8:30. (I haven't done so well on only 6 hours of sleep in 2-3 days.) I did wake up about 10 minutes later and called Ryan at work to tell him not to call cause we were sleeping. It was so nice to get more sleep last night.

Cameron on the other hand, who usually sleeps 9-10 hours woke up twice last night. He is a little stuffy and I think he is coming down with a little cough. Hopefully nothing like Brooklynn's. Other than that he is good and such a happy little boy. He started rolling from his tummy to his back a little while ago. Another big accomplishment is when he is on his belly he turns. Cameron hasn't figured out how to use his legs and arms together to crawl. But with all his crazy kicking and moving his arms around he spins in a circle. One minute I see the back of his head and the next he is looking at me trying to talk. What a big boy. I can't believe our little munchkin is almost 4 months old. CRAZY. Here is a picture I took a few days ago. The time on the clock is suppose to be 10:15 for Cameron's birthday, but with all his kicking it moved. I just love those little cheeks and his chubby rolls on his legs he is getting.

I can't wait until my little kids are feeling better. Not to mention sleeping through the night again. (The healthy part of course is most important.)
