Random...

Photobucket
Brooklynn loves dressing up and when I would watch Dancing with the Stars she would always dress up in something "fancy". This was only one of her costumes that night. She has several costume changes.

Photobucket
Of course Cam had to get in on the action too. It was so cute to see them dancing around all dressed up.

Photobucket
This was a picture of Berkie on her last day of Preschool. It has been so fun doing the Co-op and getting to be her teacher and watching her learn and grow. It will be different next year when she goes away to a preschool but I think it will be good for her.

Photobucket
What is a mom to do when she is sick with a horrible headache, throwing up, dizzy and it is snowing in May? Well we set up Brooklynn's tent and they had a camp out. It kept the kids busy for hours.

Photobucket
They had so much fun and it was nice that I was able to lay down and feel better. They played games, read books, drank hot chocolate and watched a movie. The kids sure had fun.

Photobucket
To celebrate the end of our preschool we took the kids (and siblings) to the zoo. They had a lot of fun and saw all the animals.

Photobucket
Brooklynn and her friend Ashlynn were so cute, they kept holding hands. It was sweet that she also was very sweet to Cam.

Details...

Thanks everyone for your comments. We are very excited. I felt very blessed and excited to find out when I was pregnant with Cameron and now to be able to give birth to two babies is a wonderful blessing. Although I have had a few hard times and been sick, I really try not to take any moment for granted. And wanted to say thank you to some dear friends who have been very sweet and supportive to me. Love you guys. Hope you know who you are.

So I know there were questions and details wanted so here you go...

How far along am I?
15 weeks

When is my due date?
November 9th

When was Cameron's?
November 5th, Yep! After years of testing and fertility treatments we found that my body just didn't work. My doctor thinks that maybe I really just ovulate once a year at the exact same time. WEIRD!!!

How is it going?
Good, no big problems. I started getting Hydronephrosis again at the exact same time as with Cameron, but it is doing ok now. Just a little back pain. This time around we found an issue but it is under control and so far no big deal.

Do you want a boy or girl or have any guesses?
I think a boy or a girl would be fun for different reasons. At first I thought it was a girl, since I was a little more sick and had the "girl" cravings. But really I know that a lot of those Old wives tales are just that. I think that Cameron would love a brother to get into trouble with, but Brooklynn REALLY wants a sister. She told me... "But mom, I already have a brother and I don't have a sister." In fact she gets really mad if I tell her we may have a boy. We have been working with her and I have her convinced that the baby is a boy, just so if he/she is Brooklynn isn't disapointed and if we have a girl it will be a big surprise.

Are you going to find out or be surprised?
I am going to be surprised, when I find out in 4-5 weeks. I like to be ready, I am a planner.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy late Mother's Day to all women out there.

It was a nice day, Ryan was suppose to work the night before and sleep on Mother's day. But he got canceled. No on call or anything just canceled. It made my night. So as usual Ryan got me some of the flowers for the yard. (We haven't started on the front yet, since we have to rip out a tree.) And from the kids they are getting me a zoo pass to take them. I am so excited. I didn't have one for a whole year and can't wait to go back.

Mother's day morning I didn't get to sleep in. We have 9am church. Also just before 7am Brooklynn came in and said Happy Mother's Day and gave me a drawing. (Ryan was still asleep, I couldn't believe she remembered it was Mother's day) It was very sweet, I thanked her and told her I love her and she could go play in her room. I needed a little more beauty sleep. After church we got to see both Ryan's and my mom Sunday night and had a nice time with them and our families.

P.S. I am so lucky to have such amazing kids that I am very blessed with and very thankful for them both. They are so special and I love them so much. Thanks Berkie and Cam. I love you! Thanks Ryan for being an amazing husband and dad.

Cinco de Mayo

I forgot to put this on here. On May 5th, for lunch we celebrated Cinco de Mayo. We had some Quesadillas, chips and dips and a treat. Brooklynn wore her Mexican Fiesta dress.

Cam joined in on our lunch and he loves dipping things. So he enjoyed dipping his Quesadillas in Ranch and Chips in a cheese sauce. YUM!!!

3 Years later

3 years ago we were so lucky to finally have Brooklynn sealed to us. It was such a special day. She looked like such an angel.

Every year we celebrate and go downtown to the temple grounds and spend time as a family. We are so blessed to have Cameron who became a part of our family 18 months ago and is also sealed to us.

We also made it a tradition to go eat at the Lion House every year. Brooklynn has the best memory and kept talking about a lion stamp that they gave her. So she asked the lady and she knew exactly what Brooklynn was talking about.

What a little cheeser. He is so funny and a joy.

Both kids after we enjoyed our yummy meal. I am so lucky to be a mom to two amazing little ones.

Brooklynn loves going to the temple and she was so excited to visit and see it again.

Brooklynn kept telling me she had to get a picture on the stairs by the door, so she and her daddy did just that.

It got a little chilly so Cam was all bundled up.

We had a special gift for the kids to remind them how much we love them and how special they are to us.

Cameron got a Tigger statue, cause he is always bouncing and we love his fun personality. Cam- never change who you are, we will always love you. Brooklynn got a princess statue, because she is our princess and we want her to know that anything is possible. Berkie- You are evidence of what comes from Faith and Obedience. You are our sweet princess.

Stop being so Lazy...

Since Brooklynn started walking we noticed that she walked kinda funny. As the overprotective mom that I am I talked to her doctor about my concerns and he checked her legs and hips and said it could just be that she is just learning to walk still. So I ignored it for awhile. Well I really started noticing it more when she was 3 and her younger cousins would run around and go up and down stairs with no problem. She can't go up and down stairs with out either holding my hand or holding on to something to steady herself. Even a little bump in the grass or sidewalk she always stops and steps over things. I knew that something was off. Brooklynn also gets really high fevers and so we were sent to a rhuematologist to rule out Rhuematoid Arthritis. (Thankfully, she doesn't have that) Brooklynn started going to Physical Therapy. They found that Brooklynn does have very tight muscles especially on the one leg that she doesn't bare down on. She started doing exercises at home. I still wasn't convinced that tight muscles was her problem. I went to a different Physical Therapist to get another opinion. He agreed with me and wasn't really sure why she does that, but the tight muscle shouldn't affect her as much as it was. I didn't know what to think. Ryan was talking to a girl at his work about it and she told him, same thing happened to her daughter and found out she had lazy eye.

We went in to Brooklynn's doctor and she took the eye test. Her right eye (blue/brown) was perfect got all the pictures correct. They moved on to the left eye and she couldn't tell them anything. Knowing Brooklynn you could tell she wasn't faking it. She kept rubbing her eye and trying to move it to the other eye. So we got reffered to an Opthamologist. Of course it took 2 months to get in, but after a few short tests. They knew that she has a lazy eye. The right eye is perfect 20/20. It now makes so much sense, the perceptions was off and it was hard for her to tell how high things were.

So my girl got glasses to try to correct the left eye. She will wear these for 5 weeks and go back to the doctor and see if there is some improvement. If not much than she will have to wear a patch on her right eye to get the other eye to start working. Brooklynn has the most beautiful eyes and hopefully she doesn't have to wear the patch, but I want her eyes to start working. Depending on how it goes she may not have to wear glasses forever. She still looks dang cute in them though.

Poor Berkie is already starting to get a head ache from them and so we are giving her an hour or two break a day for a week and see how things go. Along with Tylenol and Motrin. I love her pink/purple glasses and her gold Scooby Doo ones. What a babe!
