Saturday morning I went with some friends Heidi, Charlotte and Jessica to do the Race for the Cure. I haven't gone before and really wanted to go and support it. We lost Ryan's aunt 2 years ago to Breast Cancer and I was close with her and love her so much. We would always go stay with her in St. George during the St. George Marathon. We always felt so welcome and had a lot of fun.
Ryan's mom and other aunt Barb are survivors of Breast Cancer. My mother-in-law had her 11 year cancer free anniversary this year. It was really fun to do the race and I loved seeing all the people and their shirts. We had fun. Maybe next year I will attempt to run, probably not, but you never know.
While I did the race, my mom stayed with my kids. I love the picture of Cameron cuddling her. He was almost asleep and then he heard my voice. So after I fed the boy we took Brooklynn to get her haircut at Cookie Cutters. She was so nervous and would NOT smile for the camera. Whenever the girl would go in front of her and didn't have scissors in her hand, Brooklynn sat and talked to her. But immediately would go back to a concerned look. It was a cute place and it was nice that Brooklynn acctually stayed still. We cut 5 inches off her hair, but she looks so much older and very cute.

Go Racers! I loved every minute of it! I had a great time and ran 75% of the way. Although Katie and Paige smoked me...as well as my mom and dad! Uuugh....I need to get into better shape.
I had so much fun too!! Brady and Bailey did awesome. We all ran a majority of the way. Gracie had fun just riding along in the stroller. She did pretty good, but she kept wanting to get out and run with us. She's funny! I'm so glad I decided to do it last minute. I think the kids enjoyed it too. The pictures of Brooklynn getting her hair cut are priceless. She looks so concerned but I think it turned out fab. She looks adorable. I wish Gracie had hair to cut. :( Some day! Love ya
