Boston (Part 5)

Ryan and his dad went to a Redsox game so Susan and I decided to go out and see some fun things on our own. We went to one of their cemetaries. It was so neat. So many graves of some amazing people in American History.

Across the street from this cemetary is a Samuel Adams bar. The joke is that it is the only place you can drink a Samuel Adams (beer) while looking and seeing Samuel Adams.

YIKES!

Some of the headstones were so creepy. So glad that people put hearts and angels on headstones now a days.

They are so old that many of the ones that were flat have worn off from the weather over the many years.

Yep, that's right Paul Revere!

What the...?

A tree grew around a headstone.

John Hancock

Ben Franklin's Family was buried here. Ben was buried in Philly.

Boston (part 4)

We heard about going to a part of Boston that many call the Italy side. There are a lot of Italian restaurants and a place called Mike's Pastries. They have THE BEST Cannolies. Well it was my first one, but it was amazing!

Ryan got a Pistacio and I got a chocoloate chip one.

YUM!

Loved it!

It was the first time I had ever left the kids overnight (besides having a baby). I was so nervous. But they did fine. Ryan's sister had McKenna the whole time. (I didn't want her to bounce around to different places since my mom couldn't get off work the whole time.) She loved it!

Cameron stayed with my mom and sister the whole time and got spoiled and a lot of attention.

Brooklynn was with my mom, sister and then spent 2 days with her cousin Gracie. She got to ride horses!

Allyson realized how much McKenna likes to eat. She constantly asked for cereal.

Even though Cameron had fun, he missed me the most. When we got home it was non-stop hugs, kisses and cuddles.

Brooklynn missed us too, but had a lot of fun!

Boston (part 3)

Just a cool building we saw, very ornate and old. The unicorn is Boston's Athletic Association's symbol. It was chosen in 1887, because in mythology a unicorn stands for an ideal, something to pursue, that can never be caught.

China Town

I love going to different China Town's. They have the coolest things.

Saw this and loved it. Ryan does not like the Yankees. It was so funny.

There were some yummy looking desserts in China Town.

One by sea, two by land...

This was very cool to go inside.

Just a little thing they had telling about the North Church

Would be kind of nice to have our own reserved pew in church. But then people would notice when you weren't there...

Paul Revere on his ride with the North Church behind him. (thought this looked cool)

Boston (U.S.S. Constitution and more)

On the ferry with Boston Harbor behind us.

Ron and Susan on the ferry.

Another pic of the Harbor.

WWII destroyer Casin Young.

It was awesome!

Ryan thought it was so cool.

RADAR. This is what my grandpa did in WWII for the Army.

Another shot from the back of Casin Young.

The Torpedoes were HUGE!

U.S.S. Constitution was AMAZING!

I got a lot of shots of it, but here are just a few.

How amazing to see two ships that are part of American History.
