New Job
Primary Childrens Medical Center
Ryan has been an RN for 2 1/2 years for IHC and just last October he got a job at the new hospital Intermountain Medical Center as an RN in Shock Trauma ICU. He has really enjoyed it, learning new things, the excitment and the people he worked with. But Ryan has always wanted to work with kids. Ryan just had his last day at IMC and has 2 weeks off but then he starts at Primary Children's Medical Center. He will be working in the pediatric ICU. I think this is a great opportunity for Ry and I think he will do great. I am so excited for Ryan's new adventure with his career. We will for sure enjoy his two weeks off but it will be fun for him to start something new.

Happy Dad's Day!
My Dad
I have so many great memories with my dad. Some of my favorite are all our vacations he took us on. Every couple of years we went to Disneyland (which I still love that place) Two of my very favorite trips were when we went down to Honduras and spent 3 1/2 months, what a great experience. My other one was when we took a trip and traveled the country we went to New York, Washington D.C., Maine, Nauvoo and many more states along the way. My dad is a very hard worker and I think sometimes he works 24/7. Brooklynn doesn't get to see my dad a lot but when she does she has a deep love for him. Brooklynn talks about Grandpa Dennis a lot after she sees him. Love you.
Ryan's Dad
Ron is a great dad and grandpa. Ryan has learned a lot from his dad and I am proud of them both. Ron has always been there in times of need. All of us kids really look up to Ron and want to be more like him. All the grandkids have their own special bond with him.It was so wonderful haveing Ron at Brooklynn's birth and sharing this special moment. Ron is the bishop of his ward and gets very busy but he always makes time for his family. We love you.
My Grandpa Budd
I have always been very close to my grandpa and even more so recently. My grandpa is a true hero and I love reading and hearing about all his stories. I am even reading the letters he wrote my grandma the 4 years he was at war and putting them into a story. Whenever we go over there Brooklynn always wants to see Grandpa Budd she loves being outside with him or being in his room. Grandpa you are a wonderful example. I love you.
These are all the Dads in my life thanks for all you guys do.

Does History repeat itself????
So I am now 19 weeks and we went to the doctors today to get our ultra sound. I was excited, nervous, anxious and more. I pretty much didn't sleep all night. I have been feeling the baby for a couple weeks now but just recently is it much stronger. Monday night (yesterday) the baby was going crazy and I didn't know if Ryan would be able to feel it but I have him put his hand on my belly and guess what..... He felt the baby for the first time. It was so neat for him.
So we get to the doctors and I give the tech the tape. So first thing we find the heart beat. Yeah! That is always my fear. The heart rate was 138. So she starts measuring things and looking at stuff and I wanted to say... "Can you please just tell me what we are having first" But I didn't.
So then it is time and we discovered we have a very modest baby. It was keeping it's legs closed and covering up well. It probably took a good 5 minutes and then she informed us that ..... "Your baby has outdoor plumbing." Wahoo! Well I guess you can't always follow tradition right. So we are having a little boy. We are very excited, Ryan especially he won't be outnumbered any more. We only have about a minute of this on the video tape but we have a lot of pictures. Now the hard part coming up with names. Well thought you would all want to know.

Happy Birthday Chase!
Just about a week before his birthday he started walking. Here is the picture I took of him for his birthday announcements. What a cute little baseball star.
He loved all his presents, he doesn't know what to do with them yet but he liked them.
