Thomas the Train

For Memorial Day we went with my family/mom to Thomas the Train.

Preschool Graduation

My little girl graduated from preschool. I can't believe how fast life is passing by. It is crazy. She loved preschool and loved her teacher Miss Amy. At the graduation there was a program and my favorite song was "A Tooty-ta"

Our little family! Afterwards we celebrated with the grandparents and got icecream at Cold Stone. Brooklynn got lots of new books to start reading as her gifts. We love you Brooklynn. You are so smart, talented, creative, have a love for learning and a zest for life!

Zoo

We went to the zoo a few weeks ago with my sister. It has been so long since I had taken the kids and they loved it.
Brooklynn's all time favorite animal is a giraffe. Had to get a picture with the giraffes.

Cameron did not want to sit on the elephant. It didn't help that right when I sat him on it the elephant spit out water with a big noise.

10 Years!

Last month Ryan and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has already been 10 whole years. We have gone through so much in the last 10 years and still holding strong.


I LOVED my wedding cake. So for our anniversary I had a neighbor of mine make a small version of my cake. I loved how it turned out. Go Here to see her other cakes. (P.S. They taste so good)Ryan thought it was cool and was really surprised. It was fun.


She also made three little cupcakes to represent our 3 little kiddos. Brooklynn and Cameron really liked having their own cupcakes to eat.


Brooklynn LOVES Minnie Mouse and has since before she was even one years old.


Cameron is obsessed with Toy Story and so I had to have his with Buzz.


McKenna is little just like the cute little mouse on Cinderella.

For my gift from Ryan it is an IOU. He is taking me away for a night to a hotel with no kids. We had planned it before, but because of his new job and also since McKenna still has trouble sleeping at night it is hard right now to get away. Plus I just feel bad leaving McKenna with someone if she is going to wake up all night. Right now she is getting teeth and let me just say that last night I saw just about every hour.

I also made a little video showing us in the last 10 years. Hmm who are all those different girls with Ryan? Wow I changed my hair a lot.

What it's all about

I still haven't gotten a full nights sleep in a very long time. When I was first pregnant, last February, I got up at least 3 times a night. Now my sweet McKenna just loves me so much she has to see me at least once a night too. It has been a bit hard lately.

Tonight Cameron and McKenna were in bed by 8pm and about 30 minutes later it was time to read to Brooklynn and then her bedtime. About 9pm she came out and told me she was scared. I told her not to be scared and that I would come and check on her later.

Every night I have checked on my kids since the day they were born. Sometimes even twice a night. They are always sound asleep. Sometimes in crazy positions, sometimes they are wrapped tight in their blankets or like tonight their jammies are in a wad in the corner of the room, because it is too hot. But they are always asleep and fine.

The instant I walked in her room her eyes opened wide and she smiled at me and said "I love you." She closed her eyes again and instantly went back to sleep. I kissed her sweaty little forehead and turned off her lamp. Now this is what it is all about.
