Happy (late) Valentines!

Photobucket
Pictures I took of the kids for Valentines. Don't I just have the cutest kids?

Photobucket
The kids woke up to some fun little gifts and I made pink muffins.

Photobucket
Brooklynn made us a little gift. She gave Ryan one of her games and me some matching words. Brooklynn's hair was two heart pig tails. (Thanks Mona-kay for the cute idea) It looked better right when I did it, before she was all wild like. I got Ryan some yummy Sprinklebelle cupcakes with chocolate covered strawberries. They were divine. Brooklynn picked out the long stem rose for Ryan (funny huh? Hope he likes roses- I liked it anyways.)

Photobucket
We made a fun Valentine lunch. "pink sandwhich (Brooklynn has called jam sandwiches that since she was 2), pink juice, red apples shaped into hearts, pink muffins. And of course I gave the kids a new book. They loved it all.

Photobucket
Got these yummy Valentine donuts at Walmart.

Photobucket
Each day we wrote something that we love on a little heart. It has been something fun that we do depending on the holiday. I always love seeing what the kids say. (we wrote on front and back so you can't see them all.

Since Ryan had to work on Valentines night, we went out to dinner a week late, It was nice being with Ryan alone- even if it's just for an hour or so. Also Ryan bought me some awesome photo lights and a backdrop to take pictures on. I can't wait to start using it. All in all a great holiday. I am so lucky in love with a great hubby and amazing kids.

Fun Stuff

Photobucket
Brooklynn got to have a sleepover in our basement with my sister (she lives with us) Brooklynn loves her special time with Terra.

Photobucket
Cameron went down before he went to bed for 30 minutes to be with the girls. They had a blast and so did Mommy. It was nice having the kids all in bed and taken care of so I got some alone time. (doesn't happen too much)

On Feb 5th it was Ryan and my 11th year (first date) anniversary. He always remembers and on his way home from work brings me flowers. To defend myself I stay at home and don't always know the date (especially early in the morning)

Groundhog's Day

Photobucket
Brooklynn was sick one day last week and couldn't go to preschool. She had us do our own preschool. She even made pictures showing what activities we were to do.

Photobucket
We colored some pictures getting ready for Groundhogs day.

Photobucket
Brooklynn colored hers very carefully.

Photobucket
She then found a shoebox and ripped it to peices. she made little groundhogs for each member of our family. She told me "Mom, I'm so creativful huh?" She sure is.

Photobucket
There is Cam's Ground hog.

Photobucket
McKenna just hung out!

Photobucket
The next day on Groundhog's day. We traced their shadows.

Photobucket
Then the kids colored them in.

Photobucket
They hung on the door for a week, but we just threw them away because they kept getting ripped.

Photobucket
Brooklynn helped Cam with his. She gave him earrings like Uncle Eric use to have. She thought it was so funny.

Photobucket
We had ugly little groundhog desserts. (They definately didn't turn out.) I used what I could find at home. Oh well the kids liked it and thought they were fun.

Snow day

Photobucket
Brooklynn feeding McKenna a bottle. McKenna is really picky about her bottles, but she is getting so much better at taking them. Last week I was gone 4 separate times from Thursday night- Saturday afternoon and Ryan was left with all 3 kids. It went good and McKenna took a bottle two times and slept the rest. Wahoo!

Photobucket
Last week it was a snow day and so we pulled out the muffin tins. I don't have time to do it and figure out fun things every week anymore, but we do it randomnly on special occassions. I just used what we had at our house and so we had chicken rollups (since it was so cold and we roll up in blankets.)

Photobucket
As always the kids enjoyed it!

Photobucket
Cheese!

Photobucket
They love to dip.

Photobucket
Gotta love the treats too!

Photobucket We made a fun project and Brooklynn couldn't wait for Cam to wake up from his nap. So she made both of them.

Photobucket
They turned out really cute.

Photobucket
Brooklynn loves crafts!
