Happy (late) Birthday Caleb

Well I have had a busy week so I haven't posted. Last week March 14th (Brooklynn's court date) Caleb was born. So he just turned one year old. It was a lot of fun. Brooklynn of course, had to help him open his presents. We had a lot of fun and Caleb didn't really know what was going on. But he did enjoy the toys that he got. Birthdays are so much fun!

Also Brooklynn loves playing with her Great Grandpa Budd. They have lots of fun together.

Unanswered Prayers

Well I have heard this song Unanswered Prayers before, I think Tim McGraw sings it. And I remember thinking that in a way it reminded me of mine and Ryan's relationship. We both were both dating different people and I was still a highschool girl. We had both recently gone through struggles. I had in a months time lost 4 people who I was close to in my life. Both of us met and were just what we needed. Now 8 years later I was driving home I heard the song and realized that this song means a lot more to me now than I even thought. Especially because today is the one year anniversary that Brooklynn became our "OFFICIAL" daughter in court. As Ryan and I struggled for many years with out a child, those "unanswered prayers" were because Brooklynn was waiting for us. Sometimes even though it is hard and we do not know why there are many blessings on the way. I am so thankful for my sweet little angel. Even though it was a great trial and after we had her, waiting for so long until she was officially ours. It was all worth the wait. Sometimes Unanswered Prayers are exactly what we need.

New Baby Seth

My good friend Jeralyne had her baby 2 weeks ago, but since I was sick I wasn't able to see him. Finally yesterday I went to see him and I took some pictures of him. What a cute little boy.

Brooklynn's eyes

When Brooklynn was born I remember we would look at her eyes and say "Oh her eyes are going to be blue." But sometimes they looked brown. Well as she got older you could tell that her eyes left eye was blue and her right eye was half blue and half brown. In her 18 month old picture you can really tell. The eye on the left (Right eye) Almost completely down the middle is where it changes colors. And her eye on the right (Left eye) is completely blue. The other day at Susan's house we were noticing that her Right eye is getting even more brown. And of course her Left eye is still blue. At the bottom of her Right eye instead of being straight down the middle like it was, the brown color is starting across the bottom more. I think she had beautiful eyes and it is crazy that they are two different colors. I wonder what they will end up looking like.
