Wahoo for Ryan!
Prepare for lots of pictures...

This past weekend Ryan ran the Park City Marathon. We went to stay in a condo my mom's work owns and my mom came along. (That is where Cameron got his shiner.) So we came to the marathon at the time Ryan had told us, but there were so many runners finished. I was worried we missed him, but I found out that those were the 1/2 marathon finishers. So we went to the end to cheer for Ryan. Suddenly I heard someone say here the the 2nd place marathoner. I looked up to cheer and suddenly it was Ryan. I was so surprised I barely got a picture of him.

Cameron and my mom hanging out, while we were waiting for Ryan.

Here is Cameron running around trying to be like daddy. Yay for Daddy!

Brooklynn was trying to give thumbs up for her daddy, but she kinda looked like Elaine on Seinfield trying to dance.

Brooklynn was reaching for Ryan to congratulate him. We were all so happy for him.

Finally Brooklynn giving Ryan loves. It was very emotional. I have cried at every single marathon, it is such an accomplishment and I am always so proud of him. I can't believe that he got 2nd place over all. There were over 450 runners too. Way to go Ryan. He gets a trophy but doesn't get it until next week. Ry I love you and think you are amazing and am so proud of you and all your accomplishments.

Mommy and Cam swimming in the baby pool. Relaxing after a day of the marathon.Cameron had a blast.

Berkie loves the pool and is always so proud of herself that she can now do it by herself. Good job Berkie, we sure love you.

When my mom took this picture she said "Grandma watch!" Ryan put his arms out for her to swim to him and she said. "Dad, I can do it by myself." So silly.

We went shopping at the outlets and usually it is good for Ryan to walk around so his legs don't get too stiff. About half way through, Ryan couldn't really walk anymore. Brooklynn sure had fun and found these huge shoes at the Nike store.

My big boy
Cameron had his 9 month appointment a few days ago. (We got in a little late). I can't believe that in almost 2 months he is going to be 1 year old. Time just flies too fast.
Height- 29.5 inches long (75-80%)
Weight- 20 pounds (25-30%)
Cameron is pretty tall and his weight has dropped a little from the charts. His doctor isn't real worried, it could be all his moving around. Also I keep getting cysts on one side and that has caused some feeding problems. Since I only have about 2 more months to nurse he should be fine. But his doc gave me the okay to once a day start giving him whole milk to supplement a little and get him use to it.
Cam's favorite things...
Baby food- peas or sweet potatoes
Regular food- kix cereal
Drink- milk straight from the tap
Treat- mini marshmellows cut up.
Toys- Cars (he loves making the noise) also he loves walking around with a golf club.
Naps- cute cuddly puppy, he loves to snuggle it.
Book- What are you talking about, he can't sit long enough for a book, but I like to read him Kiss Good Night.
Games- He thinks it is funny to stand in the bath and fall so all the water splashes, it freaks mommy out. When I say No, he just laughs at me. (I sure have a little stinker.) Also he likes hide and seek.
Activity to play with Sissy- Wrestling her
Words to say- Dadadada
Daddy's favorite thing- His smile and that he is always happy.
Mommy's favorite thing- Cam's big (I mean HUGE) smile and big hugs. (Best baby hugger I have ever seen).
Berkie's favorite thing-"Riding on his Bebra (zebra) with him and playing with his toys."
We love our sweet little boy and can't believe he is growing so fast. Every day he learns something new. Although some days are busy and hard, I love every moment with my kids and am very thankful for them both.

Muffin Tin Monday and Cameron walking
We did Muffin Tin Monday yesterday, because today we had plans. Since this week had no theme we decided to do a Fiesta lunch. Cheese Quesadillas with Ranch, Chips with salsa and guacamole, colorful M&M cookies and a yummy skittle filled mini pinata. (Thanks to Staci for showing me how to make them.) Also Brooklynn has some cousins who are part Hispanic and bilingual. So I gave Brooklynn some Spanish learning cards to practice some words. Everytime we go over there Brooklynn starts talking in Spanish with her cousin. So I thought it would be a good tool for her to practice.
She liked the cookies the best of course. But she had fun dipping, always a favorite in our house. Not to mention the mini pinatas that we have done a few times now.
Thanks to Erin for this cute hairstyle I copied. I thought I would try it on Brooklynn. It looked cute for about 1 hour. And then Brooklynn gets WAY too wild and it was totally falling apart by the end of church.
I can't believe how good my little Cam walks now. He will be 10 months at the end of this week, CRAZY HUH? He definitely takes after his runner daddy. Way to go Cameron!
